The Society for Medieval Feminist Scholarship (SMFS) has announced the creation of a new biennial honor, the Suzanne Edwards Mentorship Award, recognizing extraordinary mentorship of early-career feminist scholars. Katherine Crassons, associate professor of English, has been named the recipient of the 2025 Bonnie Wheeler Fellowship, one of the most prestigious grants for medievalists.
